What’s Happening To This Country? The Swine Flu Swindle
I read an interesting article in one of the free London rags yesterday afternoon, when I was out and about trying to earn a living.
Remember a few months back the dreaded “Swine Flu” epidemic that was going to possible kill over 60,000 people in Britain. That sure sounded like a lot of people to me and I even contemplated getting a vaccine, but then I came to my senses and thought it may have been a marketing ploy by those evil and greedy pharmaceutical companies trying to make even more profits. I felt at the time they may have greased a few palms of certain people within the World Health Organisation and some Civil Servants in the UK.
The actual real amount of people that directly died because of Swine Flu in the UK was actually? Wait for it! The true number wasn’t even close to 60,000, it wasn’t even 1000, no wait for it, the number of people who actually died in the UK was around 100. How could the British government get things so wrong. It is down to one man the Chief Medical Officer for England Sir Liam Donaldson, who was either getting back handers from certain pharmaceutical companies or he is just dam incompetent. The World Health Organisation also had a hand in creating the world wide panic, that they kinda got ever so slightly wrong.
It seems that the British tax payer once again got shafted to the tune of £300 million, not dollars but 300 million fucking pounds. Down to Sir Liam’s wisdom and encouragement the Labour government bought in enough of the Swine Flu vaccine to virtually inoculate the whole of the country. The article goes on to mention that Poland didn’t buy in any of the vaccine, and they had 140 deaths due to swine flu out of a population of 40million. I guess that’s what we get in this country when we have so many highly paid civil servants that haven’t got a fucking clue apart from how to waste tax payers money.
I do find it amazing that there are still 40 million people living in Poland because it seems like there are about 10 million of them in the UK. Maybe those Poles breed quickly?
The good news is that Sir Liam is retiring from public service on May 2010, oh what a shame, he is going to be greatly missed by the British tax payer. But I’m sure, whatever government is in power after May the 6th they will find new ways to squander money. Maybe it is my over active imagination but maybe Sir Liam has came into an unexpected windfall of sorts, that he has decided to leave public service. I’m sure he could quite easily get a job with GlaxoSmithKline, I think he has got what it takes to work for them!
I’m sure it wont be too long till some crook within the pharmaceutical industry is devising another world wide epidemic that they just happen to have a vaccine for! Hopefully some lessons have been learned in this country, but I somehow doubt it! I know what has happened to this country too many lunatics have escaped from Oxford and Cambridge, oops I meant to say the asylum and they are now running the country!
