What You Think, You Can Become

What You Think, You Can Become

Mohandas Gandhi was revered for his wisdom. A great man of undoubted vision, who longed for a world of peace and unity.

If only the world wasn’t controlled by crazy men, power mad men, religious leaders, blind politicians and business men who profit from ensuring that peace will never exist in the world we live in.

There is no point in me harping on about the beliefs of Gandhi and how the world would be a much better, safer and happier place if more people would adopt his philosophies. That is never going to happen in a million years. However for those of you that are like me and are striving to move forward in life, trying to achieve things and get to a place that is requiring a lot of time and effort, and maybe you sometimes doubt if you can really get to the top of the mountain or wherever it is you want to be. I have came across a quote by Gandhi that is totally inspirational. I would go as far as saying that  it is quite simple the key to the unlocked door that I have never quite been able to open.

‘A man is but the product of his thoughts, what he thinks, he becomes’

Mohandas Gandhi

Can achieving our  dreams and ambitions really be down to the power of our own minds…what do you think?

  1. It’s always a pleasure to arrive at your blog while dropping.
I would love to move to the UK and we thought we could realise our dream soon, when something came between it.
We’re now confronted with people who are not able to see the good, but want to pour all sorts of therapies out over us, because they can’t find fault. And I’m deeply afraid it will affect the children in a bad way. They’re now good people with the right self esteem, who trust themselves. But when others keep saying they’re not OK, what will the result be in the end?

I think the mind has huge power, but we need more than thoughts to become what we want and stay the good people we are. We need to belief in ourselves and that the good and truth will prevail with all our hearts and souls.

Achieving our dream to move to the UK won’t happen with thoughts alone. Circumstances need to be right, money needs to be present and we need to find a job and a place to live.

But when our dream is to become good people we need to think the best.

  2. I love that quote! It is so true and a very good example of why people need to rise above their own prejudices and judgements.
