The Summer Time Blues
The recession is soon going to be kicking in big time, as if it already wasn’t…things are seemingly going to get real painful in the UK. Thanks to the huge mess that the Labour Party have created, all citizens young and old, rich and poor…especially the poor are going to be feeling the effects of the emergency budget on the 22nd of June 2010 that the Government are going to force upon us.
The UK is quite frankly drowning in a sea of debt. DEBT!
Britain has a mere deficit of only a measly £156 Billion sounds like a lot, it is a lot. Did the Labour party never notice how bad things were. I guess they were waiting until it got real bad before they took any serious steps to fix things…!
The PM David Cameron, his pet monkey Nick Clegg and George Osborne are claiming that we the public are going to be involved in the debate regarding all the cuts that are needed to stop the UK going into overkill. I’m sure most of us are aware that there is going to be a fucking massacre. It was nice of them to let us know in advance of it happening that we have to be prepared for the worst.
I’m glad the politicians are looking for input from the public because I have a few ideas that I’m pretty sure will save multi billions of pounds:

I would start off by getting rid of all lazy and incompetent civil servants, which would lighten the work load by around at least 1 million. Massive savings would be made here. And when they become unemployed have them earning their benefit money my picking up litter.

A instant 20% pay cut for all MP’s.

Get rid of around 20,00 NHS managers at least.

Do away with all MP’s expenses, apart for cheap hotels, second class rail travel and bus fares.

Get us the hell out of those illegal and never ending wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I feel the issue of foreign aid has to be seriously looked into and cut backs have to be made there.

Stop child benefit for all families on over £40,000 a year.

Increase the taxes of those greedy bankers, make them suffer and then make them suffer some more.

Fine Tony Blair £10 million for…too many reasons to mention. Just do it.

Do more to catch all those super rich fuckers that are not paying their taxes. The words partial non-dom and full-time non-dom srping to mind!

Its about time they invented a couple of new council tax brackets for those that live in multi million pound houses.

And because I’m a fair man and know that we all have to share this pain. I reckon that everyone earning over £20,000 a year should pay an extra 2 pence in the pound in income tax.

Tax the banks, oil companies and supermarket chains more on their profits. These guys have to realise so what if they make a little bit less in profits, its a fucking recession and that’s what happens. Feel the pain!
The Summer time blues…I just wish I had enough dough to get the hell out of the UK for a few decades until this mess is sorted out. I can just picture myself lazing around on an a beach in the Indian Ocean some place, without a care in the world, apart from making sure my next lager is properly chilled…
