The Right To Kill Burglars

The Right To Kill Burglars

An interesting story caught my eye yesterday. On March 13 last year a 17 year old thug Tyler Juett and a 14 year old fellow piece of scum broke into house a house in broad daylight and were confronted by the householders son Omari Roberts. What happened next should be a warning to all would be peddlers of misery such as Tyler and Omari.

What happened next is what I will call poetic justice, the 14 year was lucky and ended up with minor injuries after getting stabbed. Tyler wasn’t so lucky, he wound up dead from his stab wounds. This story is big news in the UK because Omari Roberts had his first day in court yesterday. The actual trial will begin in Nottingham Crown Court on April 19.

This case is creating a fair bit of controversy in UK at the moment because it has opened up a huge can of worms concerning a householders rights to protect and defend their home from burglars. These two youths had by all accounts committed numerous burglaries and on this occasion their luck had ran out.

I just wonder what those two scumbags would have done if it had been Mrs Roberts who had caught them red handed ransacking her home. I have a fair idea what they would have done, they would have laughed in her face and probably given her a good beaten for daring to interrupt their days work.

Mark my words Britain needs more people like Omari Roberts who are prepared to defend their families home with whatever means possible. What was he meant to do, say get on with it boys and call the cops who would have turned up a few hours later. Give me a fucking break. And if a miracle happened and the cops caught them, which is highly unlikely and what is even more unlikely is that if they ever went to court an out of touch judge would have said I will give you another chance and given them a slap on the fucking wrist.

The bottom line and the truth of the matter is Tyler Juett should have never in that house in Nottingham on the day he ended up stabbed to death. If he had been a good boy, instead of a piece of scum he would still be alive. Break into hard working peoples houses and you better be prepared for the consequences of your actions.

The CPS lawyer Ian Cunningham was quoted as saying, ‘I have decided that when Omari Roberts disturbed two burglars and caused injuries to them – in one case fatally – his actions were not reasonable.” Give me a break, it was his mothers house and a couple of thugs had broken into and were in the process of ransacking it. How many times have burglars been interrupted and killed or brutally assaulted the householder.

Mr Cunningham also went on to say that “legal guidelines made it clear that anyone using reasonable force’ to defend themselves would enjoy the full protection of the law.” He added: ‘The law also makes it clear that people could be prosecuted if they act with excessive and gratuitous force.” The cold hard facts of reality are if Omari never used whatever means were at his disposal to defend his mothers home, he himself could have wound up dead.

Britain seems to offer better rights and protection to the lawbreakers and scum of society. Why cant the scum just mug and break into the houses of the fucking do gooders and social workers that protect them. As well as the judges that give them a hundred second chances and I’m sure things would change for the better.

Many moons ago, during my summer break from college I was working for the local council doing some gardening work. There was about 6 of us doing a 2 man job, well you know how the council love to waste money. When suddenly we heard a window getting smashed in. We all ran to where the smash had came from. A junkie burglar had thrown a rock through a side window at 11 am.

We called the cops and stopped him from getting away. He was such a low life, I can remember his exact words, “if you touch me I will get you charged with assault”. If it had been my own house I wouldn’t have thought twice about taken the shovel that was in my hand over his head.

I think it is complete joke that Omari Roberts has being charged with murder for defending his mothers home. If he did go a wee bit overboard due to the heat of the moment, charge him with a much lesser offence and give him a slap on the wrist. Quite simply he wouldn’t be facing any charges if two teenage thugs hadn’t broken into his mothers home on that fateful day.

The moral of this story don’t break into somebodies home intent on causing misery unless you are prepared to give your life. The law for once needs to offer some protection to  those that are prepared to stand up to the scum of society. Omari Roberts should not go to jail.

  1. This is crazy. Omari shouldn’t have to go through this for defending himself and his home.

I was once unfortunate enough to be at home when someone attempted to break in. I called the police who said they’d be round in about two hours.

After I told them not to worry about it, I’d deal with it myself they managed to get there within 5 minutes!

It is almost like the cops are saying that they see burglary as nothing more than a minor inconvenience. It sure as hell isn’t a minor matter for those that get robbed.

The problem with most cops nowadays is that they are in the job for the money, pension and good promotion prospects. Most of them avoid real police work like the plague just in case they have to earn their money. They would rather go around hassling innocent tourists taking pictures around London!

  3. Wow. How unfortunate that this man who managed to fend off two robbers now has to be charged for doing what anyone really should have the absolute right to do; protect oneself and one’s home. Crazy!

And criminals now are so vicious. I watch a lot of crime TV, and most of the time, if they break in on you, you’re the one that ends up getting killed. I guess that’s okay, though, huh? Ridiculous!
