The Best Songs Of Summer 2009
It is Summer time in London, or should I say it was summer time, because the heat wave has disappeared as quickly as it arrived. But that is the beauty and unpredictability of the British weather, which is in a perverse way a good thing, because when the weather is beautiful in this country we truly appreciate it. That is apart from when it gets too hot!
I don’t know what it is about my first summer living in London, but I have yet to find my defining or iconic song for Summer 2009. I’m not sure if I have been too busy to listen to enough radio to hear enough of what’s out there or whether it is truly a dismal year in terms of finding a catchy feel good summer song.
Anyway I have created my top 5 contenders for my own personal Summer of 2009 favourite song. I maybe need to start listening to more radio or possible start going clubbing again, to see if there are any better songs out there that I may have missed. Or quite possible the best Summer 2009 track has hopefully still to be released, because I’m really struggling to come up with something that I cant get out of head or have the urge to constantly sing along too.

My Favourite Michael Jackson Song at the moment has to be “Billie Jean”, this takes me back to the days when I was young loon strutting my stuff on the dance floors of Aberdeen, if only I could have mastered a few of those dance moves more successfully!
Hopefully before Summer 2009 is over, there will be a few more inspirational and can’t get the tune and words out of my mind songs. Or if anybody knows of something that they feel is worthy of being a top song of Summer 2009 let me know……..
