Take Two 2 For 1 Voucher and Guide Book

Take Two 2 For 1 Voucher and Guide Book

The postman came bearing another gift for my alter ego William K Wallace, the London Blogger. This sure has been a good seven day spell for me, last Friday a delicious superhero smoothie turned up at my door, then on Sunday an awesome pair of designer Japanese trainers arrived via the smiling postie, wtf it was only 7.30am and then on Tuesday it was a trip to the Theatre. And yesterday the Take Two, 2 for 1 London voucher book popped through the letter box.

It is not very often that London Is Cool reviews things, basically it just really isn’t my sort of thing. I don’t find it fun, unless it is something that I personally find interesting or useful, and a lot of what I get the chance to review, attend or experience just isn’t my thing! However the Take Two book is definitely something that is right up my street.

Lets get Rock ‘n Rolling! So what is the Take Two, 2 for 1 London Voucher book all about? I think the title gives the game away. It is a book that is all about saving money. There are over 70 two for one offers inside the book that let you make savings on attractions, tours, museums, theatres, restaurants, gifts and more. You buy one and you get the second one for free, seems like a good deal to me.

Of course the book is only a good deal if it has actually got places that are worth visiting and after scanning my expert bargain hunting eye over the pages I can safely say there are lots of great money saving offers to choose from. The book costs £14.95 and believe me it wouldn’t be too hard to save that and more on one deal.

To give you an idea of the places you can visit and the money you can save here are a few examples, The London Bridge Experience and London Tombs, buy one adult ticket and get the second for free, save £23.50. Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! 2 for 1, save £28.80. Thames Clipper, 2 for 1 Roamer, save £12. The Paintball Centre, 2 for 1, save £35. Planet Hollywood, Buy one main course get second free. St Pancras Grand, 2 for 1 Champagne Breakfast, save £19.50. The Floatworks, 2 for 1, save £40. iPilot Flight Stimulator Experience, 2 for 1, save £49.50. And many, many more…

What I think makes the Take Two book work so well is the variety of offers they have on the go, it isn’t just places to eat, they also have a good selection of top attractions and tours on offer as well. Also included in the book is an itinerary planner, useful tips, ticket prices, opening hours, and a tube map, key bus routes and street map. It really is a handy little book.

To take advantage of the many 2 for 1 offers available in the book it seems simple enough. You take the book along with you, which easily fits into a pocket and then fill out the little voucher and hand it over. It doesn’t get much easier than that! I haven’t personally  had a chance to try out any of the vouchers yet, but I plan on doing so in the near future.

The Take Two, London 2 for 1 Voucher Book is definitely something that is worth considering and which could well save you a fair bit of money, you can get the full details at www.taketwobooks.com.

  1. We used to have these here at one time, but I’ve not seen them for years. The book was $20.00 and there were tons of great things to do and places to eat. I used to buy one every single year. How cool. I thought it was a fun way to explore for a pretty cheap price.

    Have a terrific day. :)

  2. It certainly seems to be a great little book with quite few good deals in it. I sure will be making good use of it…

  3. You can get these offers for free anyway if you are a tourist (or travel by train to London from anywhere in the UK) at http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/

  4. Tash, a lot of the offers in the book can be found else where, but not all of them such as money off meals. But it does pay to look as to what offers there are out there..

  5. I ordered one of these and like many people it neer arrived. After 2 months of trying to get hold of take two by phone, email and even by royal mail they still havent got back to me! Dont waste your money!

I have gone to my local paper who will are going to investigate and see if they can get a comment from them as they dont seem to want to talk to anyone!

  6. Lynzy, if I was you I would contact your bank and see what they can do. Bad customer service is something totally unaceptable…
