Summertime Road Trip – The Quest Has Begun!
‘London Is Cool’, aka William K Wallace and his African Princess have signed up for this years Capital FM Summertime Ball VIP Road Trip competition and our quest to make it to Wembley Stadium has begun. The hottest party of the summer is a must attend event, which has J-Lo topping the bill, and the UK’s amazing rising star Jessie J will also be there, as well as many other great artists.
We got the show going and took a tiny step to making it to Wembley Stadium on Sunday the 12 June, when we got our first question correct, thankfully it was an easy one, ‘Nicole Scherzinger was a member of which girl group?’ Does it get any easier than that!
By correctly answering the daily pop question and by finding some of those accelerator codes ‘London Is Cool’ aims to overtake the competition and bag the VIP Road Trip to the Summertime Ball. To get some accelerator codes, we will need to stay tuned into Capital FM on air, their Twitter and Facebook pages and via their Street Stars who will be out and about, hopefully in my area!

May 17, 12:00 – London Is Cool, aka William K Wallace and his squeeze are currently in position 157 and in great need of some accelerator codes.
May 18, 12:00 – Managed to get my hands on one of those allusive accelerator codes last night, wooha and today I had to guess which song was a hit by Katy B?…who? Never the less I managed to get it right. Currently in position 74 on the Road Race to the ball.
May 19, 12:00 – Another accelerator and another question that I actually knew the answer for without the help of Google, took me into postion 84. I seem to be going the wrong way!
May 20, 12:00 – I keep going the wrong way in the race to Wembley, now at number 91. Another question answered correctly and one more accelerator code have kept me in the hunt. Looks like I need to get a whole bunch of those secret codes…
May 21, 12:00 - The quest is going all wrong. I found 3 codes today and got the question correct, which took me into position 98…wtf! I found out that you need to answer your daily question as quickly as it will take you further forward.
May 22, 12:00 – Somehow I reached 29…
May 23, 12:00 – Another question correct which I answered nice and early and another accelerator code took me to number 8 on the Road Race to Wembley Stadium for the Summer Time Ball 2011…
May 24, 12:00 – Found another secret code and of course I got the question correct which took me into position number 5. However by the morning I went backwards to 29…
Because I’m a nice guy here are the 11 codes I have managed to get my hands on so far…SM4RT4RSE, STB2011 ,GRAPESTB, FUELTOP4RTY, MRPAPARAZZI ,GR33NROOM, UPYOURC4PIT4L, GUE5TLI5T, CLOSER, GOLD4EVER. The trick to getting speeding along on the road to Wembley seems to be to answer your question correctly and get those codes entered asap…

May 25, 12:00 – Some more codes…and another question bites the dust. Thank god for Google because I would have only got 1 question correct instead of them all…currently in position 22.
May 26, 12:00 – Got the question correct and zoomed forward 3 spcaes to 30. I haven’t been able to get my hands on the latest code. I’m sure there are thousands more deserving winners than me…
May 27, 12:00 - Seemingly the earlier the question gets answered the more spaces you move forward in the road race…well this morning at around 7.45am I moved forward 1 space….wooha. Now at number 42.
May 28, 12:00 – I was at number….I have forgotten, but I ended the day at number 10, got the question right and I found the TOURBUS code.
May 29, 12:00 – Answered today’s question around 11.45am, which moved me forward 1 miserable place…WTF to number 21.
May 30, 12:00 - Once again I managed to get the music question correct this morning which moved me from number 24 to 19 in the race to Wembley. It looks like I need all three of those remaining codes real quick…
May 31, 12:00 – Miss Dynamite had me shooting forward 5 places to number 19…so close but so far away!
June 1, 12:00 - Pulled myself of bed nice and early…around 8am…that was after a late night, got the question correct and went from position 17 on the road race to 17…wtf!
June 2, 12:00 – Number 22.
June 3 , 12:00 – Can’t seem to find any new codes…which is a disaster! Got the question correct and moved a few places fowrard to number 17 on the Road Race.
June 6, 12:00, it looks like the race is almost done and I wont be enjoying the VIP treatment…another question correct, which moved me from position 24 to 20.

LaaureenBrownn the best way to shoot up the queue is to answer the daily question as soon as it goes live at 7.30am and to quickly find the latest code. As more people use a code I think it loses power…
ahh right thanks, i try to answer the questions early but im normally asleep hahaa, i entered one this morning at like 7:40 and only moved like 5 places :/ and is it true theres 19 codes, i only have 16 i think :/
Seemingly there is going to be another code released tonight at some point during the Rich Clarke show on Captial FM, which will be put on twitter.
Getting up early only makes a difference of a few places, but I guess those places could be vital at the end of the race…
