Stunning Stained Glass Window: London Picture of the Week

A recent visit to Ealing was the first time I have been in  this area of West London for such a long time. Almost 4 years. Time does fly by living in a non stop crazy city such as London. Unfortunately I was only there for a fleeting visit when I attended a Sports Maker workshop – part of the Olympic legacy program!

The wee stroll from the Station and along Ealing Broadway to the Town Hall saw me passing by the Church of Christ the Saviour. The beautiful stained glass windows were an impressive sight. I was tempted to go inside and enjoy a few minutes of quiet contemplation, however I didn’t want to be late for the event.

The most striking and eye catching of the churches stained glass windows are located on the East window depicting Christ the King. I will return to Ealing for proper visit sometime in the near future…
