Some More Cool River Thames Pictures From The Night

I couldn’t resist letting the world see a few more of the River Thames pictures that I took during my Saturday night stroll. I think my pictures look dam cool and deserve to be shared with everyone, it just wouldn’t be fair not too!

London is cool and for me it looks its coolest and most atmospheric at night time, especially along the River Thames. I love all the different colours from the buildings reflecting on the water, it is an amazingly cool London sight.

I would totally recommend the Thames River walk that  I did on Saturday night, which was from Chelsea Bridge to Southwark Bridge. I was going to my finish my cool London walk at the iconic Tower Bridge, or the Americans, they might prefer to finish at the not so cool London Bridge! Ah my bad sense of humour! I however ran out of time as I had a hot date planned with my African Princess, which I didn’t want to be late for.

I think my River Thames photos give you an indication of the beautiful sights and colours that you will experience if you dare to do the River Thames Walk. The great thing about doing the cool London walk, which I did was the lack of tourists.

I had just started my walk on Saturday night, when I came across a group of lost female German tourists seeking directions, they were looking for Marble Arch. They must have taken a wrong turning, a feeling that I know only too well. How I wish it was a group of lost Cuban female tourists!

I was going to tell the Germans to forget Marble Arch it isn’t anything special and that they should take a wee walk along the River and have a look at Battersea Power Station all lit up and reflecting in the water. Now that is one of the most beautiful sights you will find in all of London. However between the 6 of them they could only speak about 5 words of English, which was better than my German.

I wish tourists would sometimes stray off the well trodden path, which they all seem to follow, because by not doing so they are missing out!
