Sexy Carnival Girls The Highlight of Summer 2009

The Summer is slowly coming to an end and those fantastic lazy days in the sunshine spent at Hampstead Heath or Greenwich Park, lying on my tartan travel rug drinking Cava and eating cucumber sandwiches are going to become  distant memories. However life goes on and dark and wet days wont spoil my world, I will still be out there experiencing and enjoying London life.

I have some amazing memoires of my first London summer, it has been an amazing ride so far. I must admit that  I came to London on a downer and wasn’t even too sure why I was here. My Barbados dreams had been shattered due to dark and dastardly influences and I of course I had felt the warm and sickly smell of the Grim Reapers breath on my face, only a few weeks before I arrived in London.

It didn’t take long after my arrival in London to realise that this city was my sort of place. It was in fact it a strangely liberating experience being in London. There were some dark and lonely times when I first arrived here and a feeling of being lost in life without any direction. After a couple of months London become my home, it felt like home, this city was my kind of place.

During my early first few weeks in London I came across a couple of very dangerous characters, who I would describe as being the devils disciples. But I danced with the devil once again and came out on top. I cant go into too much details about this situation because it forms the basis of the movie script I’m working on.

So here I am reflecting on my first summer spent in London, and the many good times and new experiences I have encountered since I got here. For me life is all about new experiences, new adventures and enjoying myself.

I had the good fortune and pleasure to be at my first Notting Hill Carnival this summer and an amazing experience it was too. I had heard all the comments online that were advising people to avoid it like the plague. You know probably from guys that are 40 something and still live with there mother.

These clowns would have you believe that if you were a white guy, you would be made to feel uneasy and in mortal danger if you went to the Carnival. All I’m going to say is this very white Scotsman blended in and had an amazing time with people of all colours, races and religions. The closest I got to danger was when some of those girls dressed in their sexy costumes got a wee bit too close, because they were so hot I could have got burnt!

The sexy Notting Hill Carnival girls in their colourful and vibrant costumes, along with the various sounds of the Caribbean sure added to the summer experience of life in London. Summer of 2009 sure has been a good one, but you know something the next one is going to be even better…..
