Rant of the Day From London

Rant of the Day From London

Rant of the day… and for a change it doesn’t involve cyclists running red lights or cycling on the pavement or even going up one way streets the wrong way. No… nor does my rant involve those ignorant cyclists who can’t read the clearly noticeable signs at the various entrances of Queens Park that clearly state no cycling. I could go on and on… but I wont! Instead the rant of the day from London is directed at litter louts… yes you know who you are! Lazy people who can’t be bother to put their rubbish in a bin!

I was out and about this morning enjoying the warm air and the feeling of sun on my skin. My travels took me to Paddington Old Cemetery, a place where I can usually find some peace and quiet. Thankfully that is exactly what I had when the two 7 year old middle class kids finally stopped shouting and screaming… didn’t the parents have any respect for where they were!

A seat in the sun, with a view was what I  needed to enjoy some croissants and a bottle of pure orange juice. I would have rather had a bag of Aberdeen Rowies, but alas they are impossible to find in London… not exactly health food, but who cares when something tastes so delicious!

I found the perfect seat. Sitting under the seat was a half drank can of cola… WTF! I picked it up and walked the 25 seconds to the bin and put it where the lazy slob who was drinking it couldn’t be bothered to put it. How lazy can you get, but I guess that  it is what I should be expected from people who pollute there bodies with sugar laden drinks!

Rant of the day from London… I feel better getting that off my chest!
