A blog about life in London

People Everywhere At Trafalgar Square London

People Everywhere At Trafalgar Square London

On Saturday afternoon I thought I would head out and be tourist again. It was a brilliant day, the sun was shining bright and central London was buzzing with locals and tourists alike enjoying the amazing vibe that the coolest city in the world offers.

There were a few things I had to do and places I wanted to be at in central London. I started off at Oxford Circus and then my last port of call was Trafalgar Square and then I would come back to my starting point again for the tube back home. I must admit I normally avoid Oxford Street and Regent Street like the plague but I needed to get to the Desigual store for a couple of vouchers for free t-shirts that I wanted to get at the London Kiss Party on Wednesday, that is however another story.

Central London was a teeming mass of people. I had a wee stroll from Oxford Circus down to Trafalgar Square, via Regents Street, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and finally I made it to Trafalgar Square. The good thing about life in London for me now, is that I kinda know my way around central London and it isn’t a problem getting from A to B using my good old legs, which is so much more fun and usually quicker than using public transport.

I couldn’t believe how packed Trafalgar Square was, it was jam packed with people from all over the world enjoying what must be surely be London’s most popular tourist location. I wandered around for a bit and then got myself a seat on  Nelson’s Column and enjoyed a bit of people watching and the wonderful weather.

I thought it would be fun to share with the world some of the pictures that I took of people at Trafalgar Square in London.
