Paddington Festival Is Up And Running

Paddington Festival Is Up And Running

The Paddington Festival began on Saturday 5 June, which  is a new addition to the London festival scene. It  has been organised by the Paddington Development Trust and will be take place over 3 months and will focus on celebrating the cultural talent in the W2, W9, W10 and NW8 areas of the city.

Various events will be taking place during the festival at different venues including music, dance, theatre, poetry, art, walking tours and much, much more. Go have a wee peek of the Paddington Festival web site for full details. From what I can gather some of the events are not free, which is not so good, but hell sometimes you have to just bite the bullet..!

Paddington is only a short bus or tube ride away from me, so I will be checking out some of the many  events that they have planned over the Summer. As I have said numerous times before drag yourself away from the television, the computer screen or out of the pub and get out there  and experience new things and you will reap the benefits.

Tonight and every Friday during June, Plaza Jazz People will be performing between 6.30-8.30 in Maida Hill Market. The sky is blue and the sun is shining, which in my opinion makes for ideal conditions for some alfresco Jazz. Various London and Internationally renowned Jazz musicians will be performing and the good news is that it is free.

I wonder if I can bring my own chilled to perfection bottles of Heineken…I cant think of  a good reason why I shouldn’t.
