My Favourite 12 Pictures On London Is Cool 2011: 7 to 12

To view My Favourite 12 Pictures On London Is Cool 2011: 1 to 6 you know what to do!

I may not be the worlds best photographer, but I try. Armed with my trusty Lumix FZ45 and a fairly good eye I attempt to capture what I get up to around London Town. Next year I plan on upgrading my camera to something much, much better…that I feel will help my photography to get onto a whole new level!

London is a great city for taking pictures. There are too many to mention historic and modern buildings, cool graffiti pieces, public art sculptures, people, and a never ending series of events and much, much more which provide a never ending supply of picture taking opportunities.

My Favourite 12 Pictures On London Is Cool 2011: 7 to 12

Reflections on the Water: A couple of weeks ago I captured this gem of a picture down by Little Venice. Who says Winter time is for hibernating in cold London Town…NOT ME that is for sure!

Picture of Happiness: The sun was shining bright and the sky was a beautiful shade of blue on this particular day I was at Trafalgar Square. It was good to see people smiling and having a good time.

Backing Singers: I had blagged myself an invite to the James Morrison gig at the Under the Bridge venue. What is there not to like about this picture. Two beautiful looking ladies…

Smiling Protester: The protest was the March for the Alternative that took place in London on Saturday 26 March. Not all protesters are crazed violent thugs…

Greenwich Pier By Night: Last February I had a wee wander around the outside areas beside the  02 Arena, which in my opinion becomes a much more interesting place when it’s dark. The Pier which I wouldn’t even waste my energy photographing during daylight hours becomes a picture taking opportunity  when it is lit up in the darkness.

Notting Hill Carnival: This years Notting Hill Carnival was the third year in a row I have been to Europe’s biggest, most vibrant and fun street party. I hear plenty of fellow London bloggers telling everyone when, where and what the Carnival is about, but they don’t even bother to go. Jokers all around me!

Seek and ye shall find, in fact  don’t even seek and ye shall find countless things to take pictures of in London. Open you eyes and mind, and you will find what you are looking for…
