Look Here Americans In London I Have Made A Wee Video For You

I was walking along the banks of the River Thames near to London Bridge yesterday morning cussing the rain. When Mr & Mrs American old folks, approached me, I knew what they were going to ask before they even spoke, I must becoming psychic or something.

They very politely asked me if they were heading in the right direction for you guessed it, London Bridge. I said sure and pointed to it, the bridge was only 30 seconds walk away. They looked at me like I was crazy, I will have to stop drinking virgins blood in the mornings as it must make me look slightly unhinged.

When I seen the confused looks on there poor old faces I asked them if they were sure  it was London Bridge that  they were looking for. To cut to the chase, it transpired that they were in fact looking for the famous London bridge, not London Bridge. The famous and iconic bridge over the River Thames is of course Tower Bridge. They obviously don’t read London is cool, cause if they did they would have read my article, Listen Here Americans In London Its Tower Bridge, Not London Bridge.

I like to do my bit for tourists and especially Americans because they have come such a long way to visit London, so I have put together a wee video to help out. I know the buzz and excitement that some of you Americans get when you come to London, especially when it is your first trip out of the good old USA. Now you know what a passport is used for.

I had to use my digital camera to film  my wee YouTube video, which isn’t of the highest quality, but it does the job. It was after all an emergency situation!

Hey Dummy It’s Tower Bridge Your Looking For Not London Bridge!

  1. I like the music, first choice. I don’t really care about the bridge though. I would want to go to a dance club, be a hen party member and go paint ball in Edinburgh. What would be your best suggestions?

  2. For dance music I think a visit to the legendary nightclub Ministry of Sound is must and from what I have heard China White is another must visit club.

Greenwich Park is place, which doesn’t seem to get masses of tourists, but in my opinion all visitors to London should head over there and enjoy the various amazing visitor attractions they have got to offer and best of all they are mainly free.

The London Dungeons are also good fun and well worth a visit, I also love those old historic London pubs, which are not to everyone’s liking….
