London Underground Looking Kinda Funky

London Underground Looking Kinda Funky

I got a new toy the other day, an iPod Nano 16GG to be precise and a nifty wee thing it is too. I have been having some fun playing around with the video recorder on the little power tool. In fact I was fucking amazed that the video recording capabilities on something so tiny are of such a high quality. In fact I was fucking amazed that there was even a video recorder on the thing.

I suppose I would have known that the iPod Nano had a video recorder on it if I had spent my hard earned money on it, but alas I never bought the gadget. Sometimes life as a blogger comes with a few perks such as getting invited to fun events and on this occasion I received the iPod as a thank you for writing an article on my blog helping to promote a competition on my favourite radio station, London FM.

I may add I wasn’t expecting to get anything for writing the article and it came as a pleasant surprise when I received it. Ain’t life sweet when you promote something you actually like and get a nice thank you for it.

Lets back to my new toy. What I love about the iPod is that I can covertly take videos anywhere any time I want. I’m of course only joking, before MI6 or 5 or 3 or whatever they are called come rushing round to my house to arrest me for terrorist activities. I’m a blogger not a terrorist.

In the process of playing around with my new toy I discovered that not only can I take videos but I can have a wee bit of fun playing around with the 15 funky special effects that come with the video recorder. Yes that’s right 15 different effects, fucking amazing.

I was sitting waiting on another dam delayed tube at Kilburn Park yesterday, when I shot the wee video I’m featuring today. I used the thermal setting to create my masterpiece. I think it makes boring old London Underground look kinda funky. Eat your heart out Spielberg!

The only thing missing from the iPod’s video recorder is that it hasn’t got a zoom, which is a bit annoying. And for bringing that to your attention Apple.com remember to send me the next version of the iPod as a thank you…..

I suppose I better go and figure out how to put some of my favourite songs on the thing so I can listen to some tunes as I  film life in London with my new toy.
