London Tourist Information You Need To Get Some

A must visit place for all tourists that come to London in my mind is the Britain and London visitor centre. It is like an Aladdin’s cave full of free information, along with hundreds of brochures and leaflets. In fact it is also  great place for locals to get up to date info as to what is happening in London as well as the rest of the UK.

I use to just stick to the internet and good old Google for finding out what is happening in London, but sometimes it is good to get real world information as well. I find it in some ways easier and more fun to have a pile of leaflets and brochures to thumb through looking for things to do and places to visit in London, as opposed to constantly Googleling.

What works for me is to have a browse through all the real world information and then do a bit of research online to see what tickles my fancy for visiting. Sometimes spending a wee bit of time researching what is out there and then putting a plan together as to what you would really like to or must visit. It is the smart thing to do in a huge metropolis of a city like London, because it will save you time, effort and money.

At the Britain and London Visitor Centre you will find details of virtually every single tourist attraction, event and tour that is available in London and the best of what’s on offer throughout the UK. You can even buy tickets for tours and attractions as well as travel tickets. The best thing I find about this place is that they give free and impartial advice, which is something that is a rare commodity in London.

Even though I live in London, I head to the Britain and London Visitor Centre every few months to stay up to date with what’s happening in London. This place isn’t just good for London tourist information, because it gave me a few ideas for other places in the UK that I’m interested in visiting.

I must admit I originally found London Visitor Centre by chance, when I was wandering around aimlessly one day in central London, but believe me I’m glad I did. It is only about 10 minutes walk from Trafalgar Square and is located at 1 Regent Street. You cant really afford to miss this place if you want to get the low down as to the best of what London has to offer.
