London Picture of the Day – Reflections In the Pond
The weather forecast told me that it was going to be a fairly nice day; there would even be some sunshine! So off I went to Fryent Country Park to escape the hustle, bustle and madness of big city life and enjoy to enjoy the fresh air.
I had a great time wandering along the muddy paths and the wet grass paths, as I enjoyed the intermittent bursts of sun on my skin. My last visit to Fryent Country Park was way back in January 2012 and amazingly on that occasion it was dryer and the sun shone more, but thankfully it was a hell of lot warmer this time, which was one small mercy!
In January I had problems trying to grab some half decent pictures of Barn Hill Pond… the sun was shining too brightly! No such worries this time!

There was a children’s nature activities event happening at Fryent Park, which takes place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. It was nice to see the youngsters enjoying nature. It’s a shame there was so few youngsters taking part… but sadly when I walked past the McDonald’s it was packed full of kids… there is something sadly wrong with that!
