A blog about life in London

London Picture of the Day – Before the Darkness!

Before I went into the waiting room at my doctors surgery yesterday I never had a cold, but after sitting their for 20 minutes waiting to be seen, the chances of me catching one, dramatically rose. I wondered why the mother of the 7 year old child sitting in front of me kept on allowing her son to cough all over the place without putting their hand over their mouth? I discovered the reason why… the mother did the same! Disturbingly two other children were happily doing the same.

Some say London is the greatest city in the world… it sure isn’t as far as manners are concerned!

Anyway to clear my lungs of the germ infested air that I was forced to breath in I went to the park for a Sprint Interval Training Session in. It was coldish, there was a wee bit of snow, and the air was bracing and fresh. I love working out on days like this…

I was in the middle of my cool down, when the sun started to set: a beautiful and inspirational scene to witness – it always is! Only 20 minutes after this picture was taken the park would have been pitch dark.
