London Is Cool
London is a cool city to live in and my aim of the London Is Cool blog is to show the world that this city is an amazing place to live in and that it is the true capital of the world. For me no other city on the Planet has a buzz or offers so much fun and excitement as London does.
For me London is a far more happening, culturally diverse and historic city than New York and it offers more than that other great city of the world known as Paris, we all know the biggest down fall of that city and that is they speak French! But in saying that is English even the main language of London anymore? When I was recently living in Shepherds Bush, it seemed like the English language was a foreign language! London Is Cool and I hope to eventually develop this blog into something that is worthy of such a cool city.
Join me as I venture out and about in London bringing to the world my unique and cool perspective on life in the Big Smoke. I may be a Scotsman in London, but this city feels more foreign to me than when I was living in Barbados. Strange but true! Barbados was a cool place to live, but London Is Cooler.
London has been a huge learning curve for me since my arrival in Febuary 2009! I have faced many obstacles, including the difficulties of having to find a decent place to live and having my goods stored in a self storage container for weeks, as well as getting use to finding my way around this huge and crazy city. The coolness of London is something that I never truly appreciated untill I started actually living here.
London Is Cool, sure as heck is starting out as a wee seed, but you know something it is going to grow to into a huge and renowned name relating to London. How cool is London, well you will have to read my blog on a regular basis and even better why don’t you pay the world capital of Coolness a visit and find out for yourself.

It is even cooler when you know the GOOD places to eat… which these days are easier to find than during my first visit across the pond in the 1980′s…
I have been to Paris, New York, Rio, Berlin and as good as these cities are, London is a cut above them all.
I will be going to London to study in September and I cant wait visit your cool city

I’ve not been to London, though my daughter loved it when she was there. Stopped in to say hi, and to thank you for placing my ad; was disappointed to see it’s not here, but a paid one instead. What puzzles me is I never buy any that accept paid ads, and your’s is the 2nd one today that suppose to have my ad that doesn’t. What I don’t know if this is a mistake, or you’ve changed your mind after I purchased?

You know when I am telling people that I loved London so much more than Paris I only see surprised faces and hear voices trying to convince me my impression is wrong. But I know what I know and I feel what I feel.. and I feel I am in love with London

I’m a huge fan of the city, although I’ve never been there!
I’m contemplating visiting London with my kids aged 7 and 9. Tell me something cool to do to impress them!
I think they might enjoy Victoria and Albert Museum of Childhood and the Natural History Museum, both of which I may add are for free. I know kids love zoo’s, but the London Zoo is over priced and rubbish, so I would recommend avoiding that.
Hamley’s on Regent Street is one of the worlds largest toy stores and most kids love this place.
The Royal Parks are all worth checking out, where you will be to enjoy larking about on the water in a paddle boat, or visiting the animals, live music, Punch and Judy shows, depending on which park or time of the year you go.
I LOVE TO BE IN LONDON.
Haven’t been there yet! Sigh!

It is a very cool city and one that I think anyone can appreciate, if even there for a weekend. I was amazing how convenient and easy to understand the Tube was, especially the design of the loop.
I’ve truly never been interested in visiting London until reading this post. Thanks for all the great information!

Personally I’ve never been to London but I do plan on taking a trip to several places before I did and London sounds like a place I would like to visit. I also have a good friend I’ve known for a very long time living in the Netherlands so that’s definitely on the list as well.

Although I live ‘in London’ (Harrow) it is only when I get off a train at Euston that I can actually start to feel the vibrancy of the City – yes it’s the greatest city in the world, whatever your tastes are!
