Today I have decided to feature some of London’s most famous landmarks in pictures for the benefit of my American friends. It is the start of another year and I thought I might as well do my bit for the London tourist board and showcase some of London’s iconic sights.
The Labour Government, along with their greedy banker friends and of course by dragging us into a couple of never ending wars has helped to dig the UK ever deeper into a recession. So I guess Britain needs plenty of tourist pounds pumped into the economy. Lets face it the Government has plenty of unemployment cheques, bombs, expenses cheques and Bankers bonuses that need to be paid for. The crazy thing for me is that if and when the Conservatives get back into power the situation will get even worse.
One thing that London has in abundance is plenty of famous sights that not only American tourists are familiar with, but are known and revered all over the world.
I know from personal experience how much the Americans love the famous London sights. You just have to see their happy beaming faces lighting up like a Christmas tree when they clap their eyes on Tower Bridge for the first time, the Bridge you want to see is Tower Bridge not London Bridge!
I have decided not to feature any Red GPO telephone boxes or Routemaster buses, because I felt that may have been to much excitement for the Americans to handle. Never the less I have included plenty of Hollywood cliché pictures to keep you all happy.
