Kilburn Tree Hugger Goes Crazy
I had just finished my morning stroll earlier on today, when I stumbled upon a spectacle that I have often heard about but never actually witnessed for myself. I slowed down as I approached, I thought about turning around and going back the way I had come…It was a scary, scary sight. But being a nosey fucker I slowed down instead and listened to what was going on…It was the rare sight of a tree hugger going crazy.
Things were going mad, she was going insane…There was steam coming out of her ears…The 40 something year old woman who was dressed in her pyjamas and dressing gown was furiously waving a small branch she had in her hand at her two female neighbours who lived across the road from her.
The branch had come from one of the many newly planted trees, which are part of the councils efforts to make the area a better place to live in. In fact the branch had seemingly been ripped from the tree by the two sons of the two woman… The little monsters had snapped the branch off on the way to school and the tree hugger had seem them do it.
Ms Tree Hugger woman really was jumping up and down and was almost crying over the wanton act of destruction caused to the tree and which had barley been in the ground for 2 weeks. I wasn’t sure if she was going to beat the two woman with the branch or have a heart attack. The two woman took the lecture really well about their naughty kids who are about 8 to 9 years old. I guess another place, another time and 2 different woman and tree hugger could have got the beaten of her life..
Tree hugger sure was passionate about the destruction caused to the tree and I must give her total respect for being brave enough to complain to the two mothers of the little vandals. I wonder how many people would have just turned a blind eye, moaned under their breaths and then a minute later forgot all about it…I would hazard a guess and say at least 90% of all residents of Kilburn and quite probably all of London, wouldn’t have said a word.
I have a funny feeling the 2 boys will get a bollocking when they get home from school and that will hopefully be the end of their tree vandalising days. Lets just imagine if tree hugger woman never confronted the two mothers about this, I guess the kids would have happily carried on wrecking the trees until there was none left to wreck…Much like the Brazillian government and the Amazon rain forest…If only more people had the attitude of Ms Tree Hugger maybe, just maybe society wouldn’t be in the terminal decline it seems to be at the moment.
