Its Party Time At Notting Hill Carnival
It is going to be short and sweat today, It is of course the start of the Notting Hill Carnival and I’m off to experience my first ever one. I hope to catch up on the latest carnival tunes from, Barbados, I eventually started to warm to Soca after living on the island for 9 too short months.
Hopefully this years Notting Hill Carnival will be a trouble and hassle free event, I suppose it is a uniquely British thing for such events to be marred by trouble and gangs. In Barbados, trouble during their crop over festival is something that very rarely happens.
I cant hang around, wasting time blogging, when I should be out enjoying myself at the Notting Hill Carnival, I will leave you with a few of my current favourite Barbados Crop Over tunes……
