Is It Really A New Year

It is maybe a new year but has anything really changed for most people. Is life drifting on much like it always has for you?

As most of us are aware a new year and decade has just begun. I can imagine that many people began 2010 with great hopes and expectations that this was going to be their year and the start of great things. It can be so, if you do something to make it happen, as opposed to just talking about it.

I wonder how many people made new years resolutions and  that this was the year that they were going to stick to them for more than just a couple of hours or days. But they are quickly forgotten about and put off till tomorrow. Tomorrow never happens does it?

I know there are countless people out there that hate their jobs, hate the boss or are stuck in unhappy, dead, or abusive relationship. Or perhaps you have a wee bit of the Tiger Woods syndrome, by that I mean you are philanderer and lying cheat. It can be hard to make changes sometimes, especially if they require effort or reaching  into your heart.

If your job is driving you nuts or you hate the wife or even dislike the person you have become, reach deep down into the very bottom of your heart and soul and do something to sort things out.

Life is meant to be enjoyed and lived to the max. For me personally a life without love, fulfilment, fun, excitement and adventure is no life at all. As the saying goes, “It is better to live one day as a lion than a hundred as a sheep”.

Today’s article is primarily for a life long friend that needs a kick in the ass to get them going. But I suppose there could be one or two others out there that need that kick too!

I know from personal experience what it is like to dread water in life. That feeling of dreading going into work every day and not having the guts to walk away from relationships that were killing me. The only person that can make things better is the person looking back at you in the mirror.
