I Wish The Sun Would Give It a Fu**ing Rest

I wish the Sun would give it a fu**ing rest and I don’t mean the glorious and beautiful sunshine that we have been having here in London for the past few days. I’m actually referring to that trailer trash newspaper, which is mainly read by people that are scamming incapacity benefits off the Government and for that matter it’s equally crap sister Sunday newspaper the News of the World.

I personally try not to read either, I have a mind of my own and I don’t like to be influenced by second rate gutter journalists, who are at there best, when dealing with, or creating scandal or trashing people. It is a crazy world, when you consider that, ever since Susan Boyle made an outburst against a couple of supposed fans, or were they a couple of wind up merchants working for the sun, that they haven’t had one good thing to say about her. You go figure it out! I don’t want anybody out there, that knows me to think that I bought either the Sun or the News of the World, they were free and I that’s all they are worth.

I was reading the piece of trash that they call a newspaper on Sunday, and would you believe that the News of the World had something good and positive to say about every single finalist on the show apart from Susan Boyle. Come on give me a break. She has a well document short fuse, because of her mental illness and I can imagine because of years of bullying as a kid. Why couldn’t they focus on even a couple of the good aspects of her life and there are plenty of them.

I somehow got dragged into a pub at Paddington on Saturday night to watch Britain’s got talent, and I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. A local London girl is busy shouting out of her like a mad woman, that Susan Boyle can’t even sing, when she walks on to the stage to perform. Give me break, as I have said before she maybe isn’t the best singer in the world, but she still has a better voice and knows how to perform a song better than 80% of the crap that is in the charts today.

The treatment that Susan Boyle is receiving at the hands of certain sections of the media and of course the jealous and hateful element of British society that cant bear to see anyone succeed is unbelievable. For all you people out there that are sitting on your couches watching television, just like you do every miserable day and night of your lives, gloating over what has happened to Susan Boyle. Why don’t you stop and wonder why your life is so boring, dull and going nowhere.

Susan Boyle is a woman that, as we all have read about, has got some mental problems, isn’t the prettiest looking woman in the world and hasn’t even got the greatest voice in the world, but for a few weeks in her life, she quite literally became the most talked about and famous person in the world. For me that is an amazing and almost unbelievable achievement. Her story is more like some Hollywood feel good movie, than real life. But as we are all aware her story is all so very true, and I for one hope she gets well enough to complete her fairly tale, which is to record her album, write her autobiography, and make the movie.

Just for the record, I personally feel that Diversity were worthy and very gracious winners. They are a bunch of very talented youngsters that will hopefully go onto greater things and make a good career out of something that they excel at.

I will leave you with a few words said by the group’s chorographer Ashley Banjo, about Susan Boyle, “She was so gracious about it, she said the best act won and backstage she said she saw something special. She was so nice about it.” For me that is the real Susan Boyle not the one that has been cast into the lions den to be eaten alive by the media.
