Have You Got A Privacy Policy | Google Adsense Demands It

If you are displaying Google Adsense adds on your blog or website, you must have an easy to access Privacy Policy, which is accessible from every page. I must be honest and admit I never bothered about it until today.

The bottom line is if you don’t have a Privacy Policy statement on your blog, Google can and will pull the plug, which will result in you getting banned, as well as not receiving your earnings from Adsense. I know for most of us, that wont really effect our life’s too much, If you know what I mean.

I may not be making much money from Google Adsense but it covers my hosting fees and allows me to buy a few new domain names every month, which saves me having to spend my own money, which cant be a bad thing.

I just couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of putting together a Privacy Policy for www.londoniscool.com, because I was basically thinking that Google wouldn’t catch up with me. I suppose my way of thinking is no different to 90% of the blogs out there in cyberspace. It seems that very few of those involved in Google Adsense have got a Privacy Policy placed on their site.

The tiny bit of advice I will offer today, is that when you least expect it and just when you are starting to make a bit of money off of Adsense, you will receive an email from the master of the universe Google saying that you have violated their terms and conditions. The result of, which will mean you will lose out.

In hindsight it doesn’t take much effort or time to put together a Privacy Policy, in fact just copy my one, but obviously change everything that refers to www.londoniscool.com.
