Havana Cultura Presents Live Concert Album Launch Win 2 Free Tickets & Album

Havana Cultura Presents the launch of there new album at the New Inn Yard in London on Friday the 20th of November in the capital of cool London. It is one of those parties that you want to be at, rather than hear about later, because it is going to be one fun packed night full of amazing cuban music. It is the place to be to get your groove on.

The Album is called Gilles Peterson Presents Havana Cultura, New Cuba Sound. BBC Radio 1 DJ Gilles Paterson teamed up with the legendary Cuban Jazz pianist Roberto Fonseca to make this double CD album happen. The concept behind the album was to find the best up and coming musical talent in Havana. What has been created is the biggest collection of contemporary Cuban musicians in a single musical gathering since the highly acclaimed Buena Vista Social club album in 1997, which you have all heard of.

This amazing album presents the best of Cuba’s future musical stars, incorporating a wide collection of sounds, including Latin, Afro jazz and fusion to hip hop, funk, reggaeton and R&B. It truly is a cutting edge album of up to date sounds straight from Havana.

The launch party will be hosted by Gilles Paterson, who will be hitting the decks to spin his favourite Cuban tracks. There will also be a live 9-piece Havana Cultura band, along with vocal’s from Ogguere and Danay, who are coming over from Cuba to perform a selection of tracks from the album.

If that wasn’t enough to make it an amazing party, there will also be support from London’s Sofrito Crew – Frankie Francis, Hugo Mendez and mysterious Mighty crime Minister. For those of you that like the Cuban sound and vibe the New Inn is the place to be this Friday evening.
