Emeli Sandé – Heaven, Watch, Listen and Enjoy the Future
This week’s Music Monday entry on ‘London Is Cool’ isn’t our usual Blast From the Past, but most definitely an artist of now, and the Future. Emeli Sandé’s fantastic debut single HEAVEN will be released on the 14 of August 2011, and believe me this track is going to get her noticed…
It was by pure chance that I discovered Emeli Sandé, I was having a wee peek at the local rag from back home in Aberdeen online – which must be one of the worst newspapers in the word…they really are fucking terrible – when I read a small article about local girl Emeli. I quickly searched her out on Youtube, I hoped…I prayed that she would be a talent and not only has this lady got a wonderful and unique voice but she is also a song writer…TALENTED!
Emeli is no stranger to the UK Singles Chart, having co wrote the single DIAMONDS with Chipmunk which reached number 6 and she also collaborated with Wiley on NEVER GONNA BE YOUR WOMAN which reached number 8 in the charts. She has also worked with a whole host of the UK’s brightest and best Soul, R&B and Rap stars.
‘Heaven’ is quite probably my favourite track of the year so far…a very powerful and emotional song. Watch, listen and enjoy the soon to be released debut single by Emeli Sandé called HEAVEN…

I think it is only a matter of time, till people will have heard of her. She has a record deal with major label and more importantly she can sing fantastically well, write her own songs and play the piano…
