Election Day UK | Vote For Me The Devil In Disguise!
It is May the 6th 2010 today, which is the day when the British Public get the chance to decide who they want to Govern this once supposedly great country, that was however long before I was ever born. If you believe the papers and opinion polls this time tomorrow the UK will have a new political party in power.
Gordon Brown has seemingly already packed up his belongings and is ready to make a sharp exit from Number 10 Downing Street. Goodbye Gordon we wont miss you! The bookies and the polls have got the Conservatives down as winning the election, with Labour and the Liberal Democrats fighting it out for 2nd and 3rd place. By all accounts we will seemingly have a hung parliament, which basically means no party will have an overall majority, which I personally think can only be a good thing.
Well who are you going to vote for? I know who I’m gonna vote for, none of them. I cant bring myself to vote for Labour, whom I normally would have voted for. I have had enough of them, they have quite frankly lost the plot. In my mind the day Tony Blair lied to drag Britain into a never ending war with Iraqi and cared more about bending over and taking it up the ass from President George Bush in order to preserve his earning power, for when he handed power over to Gordon Brown, was the day I lost all my faith in that party. Also the situation where Gordon Brown and the rest of the Labour goons looked after all their rich chums in the banking industry so well, when the banks were crashing, instead of letting the fuckers burn like they should have, made me realise they were no different to the Conservatives.
I suppose I could vote for David Cameron to be the next Prime Minister of the UK, not a fucking chance. The day I vote for some twat that only cares about the rich will never happen. I quite frankly could never bring myself to vote for anybody who was the son of stockbroker and attended Eton and Oxford, you just know who he is gonna look after and it it wont be the poor, the working classes or even the middle classes. It will be his rich chums who he had so much fun with in the showers when he was enjoying his privileged education.
The Liberal Democrats, I suppose I could vote for them, but I wont. In fact I cant vote for anybody because I ripped up my ballot paper a long time ago. I have a right to vote but I’m voicing my feelings by not voting, because I don’t trust any of the political parties to turn society around and make this country a better place to live in. Telling lies for votes and making promises they can’t keep is what each budding MP is doing no matter what side of the fence they sit on.
Have the papers got it right, are the opinion polls accurate will Gordon Brown and the Labour Party finally be out of power after 13 years in power or will the Conservatives finally get back into Number 10, or perhaps there will be a huge shock and the Liberal Democrats will swoop into power. I personally don’t know but I wouldn’t be surprised if Gordon Brown has to unpack his suitcases!
If you are by a minor miracle still in power tomorrow Gordon can you finally shut down that daily rag that calls itself a newspaper, The Sun. By doing that, this country will finally be taking one small step on the road to making it a better place to live in.
