East End of London Graffiti Part 2

East End of London Graffiti Part 2

I think during my latest wee wander around the East End of London that the standard of graffiti was exceptionally good – there really is a lot of talent out there brightening up the grubby walls of London’s famed graff area. There is a lot crap as well but I suppose everyone has to start some place!

Whether you are a fan of graffiti or not I don’t there is any question that it is a legitimate form of art… I would rather look at well done, vibrant, creative pieces of street art than dusty old paintings of some inbred member of the Royal Family or a hero general who sent 1000′s of brave men to death and who was never anywhere close to where the action was happing!

  1. Awesome and I really like that Mercedes too. I’ve got a white one.

    Have a terrific day. :)

  2. This is the art of now, of the future.

  3. I love both these graffiti posts! Well, I love street art. I’m surprised to see a lot of art still there from my walk last year.

By the way, thanks to your capcha, I lose about 3 comments for everyone I get through! Often I don’t want to type out a long comment again so I leave it.

  6. Comedy Plus, a nice car that was right in my way…

    Tim, yes indeed it is…

Emm, it has been a good few months since my last visit and there were lots of new pieces, but also quite a few from many, many months ago… at least there are only 4 characthers to enter. It stops my spam box getting filled up with hundreds of daily emails…

Henry, I wondered what it was going to be, in fact I thought it was going to be a giant pig! I would debate the guys huge crowds comment, the 3 times I passed by there was never more than 10 people watching…

Tracey, there sure is, but there is also a lot of crap… I just didn’t photograph that!
