Citiest of Cities Live At The Scoop In London

Citiest of Cities the latest production by Palladini Productions was the show I headed down to The Scoop at More London – an open air amphitheatre right next to Tower Bridge – on Friday evening to watch.

The story, a romantic comedy, which revolved around two rival tour buses, Super City and Hypertours. The tour guides, Alistair, Lizzie, Euan and Jasmine were constantly trying to outdo each other with their outlandish alternative histories of London. I hope there wasn’t any tourists in the audience who took any of it too seriously, because there is enough tourists confused about London Bridge and Tower Bridge wandering around in this city!

As the story unfolded it became apparent that the two male tour guides were trying to impress the two female guides from the rival teams with their spiced up theories on London’s history. What I found truly amazing was the constant flow of laughs the show produced and the sheer variety of subject matters they covered. I’m still contemplating baby pigeons and wild life cameramen on high rooftops disguised as ventilation ducts…you should have been there and you will know what I’m talking about!

Cities of Cities is another success story from Palladini Productions. This really was a fun and enjoyable show to watch – a fantastic evenings entertainment, at a fantastic location down by the River Thames, in a fantastic city. It was pleasing to see the stone steps of the amphitheatre packed full of Londoners and tourists all enjoying the show – many of whom came prepared with some refreshments.

Praise has to go to Palladini Productions, Producer/Director Saima Duhare, writers Roberto Trippini and Sam Bevitt and of course the actors, Simon Brandon, Inez Mackenzie, Aidan Creegan and Miriam Sully for creating such a wonderful show for the enjoyment of everyone who was lucky enough to watch it…and if you missed it, keep your fingers crossed that the show makes it to a theatre some time soon.
