Bright City Lights In The Capital Of Cool London
I’m going to be man of a few words for a change today. Instead I’m going to feature a series of pictures, which are all derived from the same picture but have been slightly altered in Photoshop CS4. I found a boring run of the mill picture on Google, that someone had made a bit of mess with by overusing the photo filter on it, so I thought I would do them a bit of favour and improve it for them.
The picture is of London’s answer to New York City, which is of course Canary Wharf. A place that looks a hell of lot better at night when it is all lit up, than during the day when it is nothing more than an ugly glass and steal jungle. If that is New York you can keep it. I don’t mind the odd multi storey building that pops up here and there in Central London, at least there is also all those amazing old historic building all over the place that helps to create an amazing backdrop to this city.
The first picture is of course the original picture. There is just something about that orangeness of the picture, which makes me feel kinda ill.
And here are my Photo shopped versions of the same picture. I feel they are much more pleasing to the eye. Feel free to print them off and frame them……

I like the black and white one the best. I love black and white city-scapes and that is an especially good one. Nice work!
