Barclays Live Dance Competition At Leicester Square

Barclays Live Dance Competition At Leicester Square

Do you think you can dance…I know I can’t dance, but I get better once I have had a few too many. For those of you who are aspiring dancers and think that you have got what it takes to do your stuff on the big stage in front of thousands of people, I have got wind of an upcoming competition that you need to be part of. Barclays Live Dance Competition, which is going to be held  at Leicester Square to be precise.

On Saturday 31st July Barclays Live Dance Competition will be coming to the ‘Big Smoke’ for the London leg of the regional dance competition. If you are a talented up and coming dancer or dance group you need to get out there and get as much exposure as possible, which is what this competition is all about. Even if you don’t win the competition it still will be an invaluable experience having the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of people.

The Winners of the Barclays Live Dance competition at Leicester Square will win £1000 and VIP tickets for Brendan Cole’s official tour Live and Unjudged, he is incidentally one of the celebrity judges of the show. If you are not going to be taking part get yourself along to support and watch some of London hottest dance talent, just like I will be.

To be in with a chance of appearing at Leicester Square on the 31st July, you have to submit a video to the competition organisers, who will then select the 10 best entries who will then be given the opportunity to battle it out for the money and the prestige of winning the London leg of Barclays Live Dance Competition. If you think you have what it takes, head over to the Barclays Live web site for full details.

London Is Cool, has decided to do a wee dance for you all…go check it out ‘Dancing London Is Cool.’

The last leg of the competition, which was in Birmingham was won by an amazingly talented dance duo called ‘Steadiflux’, you can check out the video of their winning performance below.
