Are All London Cyclists Total Assholes
London cyclists you either love them or you loathe them, there doesn’t seem to be any middle ground. Most drivers really haven’t got much time for people on bikes, and I suppose cyclists haven’t really got much time for other road users or pedestrians either. And before I forget most pedestrians find cyclists a dangerous pain in the ass
In my mind London cyclists are a breed apart from what I have experienced in Scotland. There were a few bad eggs back home who would blatantly ignore the rules of the roads. In London it seems that 99% of cyclists either don’t know the rules of the road or they just don’t care.
I think what is needed in London is some cycling training or maybe cyclists need to go and buy a copy of the Highway Code, in fact Mayor Boris why don’t you just give them away for free. Believe me they will save the life’s of cyclists.
Another problem that I think exists with the vast majority of London cyclists is that they are all fucking colour blind. Don’t they know that red means stop and when the green man is flashing at the pedestrian crossing it also means stop and let the people cross the road.
This year there has been far too many cyclists in London killed or injured on the roads of this crazy city. I wonder how many life’s could be saved if cyclists were more road aware. Or if they could only treat the roads as a dangerous places that could potentially cost them their life’s if they make a mistake.
Are you a London cyclist that thinks you are the king of the road, that thinks it is okay to blast through red lights, to cycle fast on pavements or thinks it is fair to cycle on the wrong side of the road? Or what about trying to knock down pedestrians when its there turn to cross the road. And you lot want the publics sympathy, give me a fucking break.
This morning I nipped out to the bank and in the process I had to cross over the road four times via different pedestrian crossings. I’m not joking or exaggerating when I say that each time a cyclist sped through either a red light or when the green man was flashing.
One of them seen the error of his ways because he went through as the red was changing to green and he stopped before he had an accident. Another cyclist narrowly avoided a punch in the back of the head from a burly looking dude, whom he nearly hit when he blasted through when it was time for the poor old pedestrians to cross. He was one lucky London cyclist.
The funny thing about this mornings don’t give a shit about the rules of the road cyclists is that they were all cycling on those fold up bikes. I guess cyclists don’t understand what Karma is. They shouldn’t cry too much when they get there bikes stolen or bike jacked or burst tyres, that is just Karma telling you to wisen up!
Anyway WTF are cyclists always in such a rush to get wherever it is they are going. It is like they have the devil chasing them or something, that they cant stop when they are meant too. Or perhaps they are all just colour blind.
That buffoon of a Mayor Boris Johnson needs to quit encouraging more fools on to the roads of London on bikes. Instead to he needs to encourage and make people aware of the importance of cycle training, believe me it will save countless life’s and injuries.
I’m not anti cyclists, I’m anti everything that causes danger to people, whether that is bad car drivers, cyclists or stupid pedestians and that is the bottom line.

Well I know for a fact that many of the cyclists deaths in London are not inexperienced cyclists they are in-fact experienced cyclists that have been killed by cars or more likely heavy goods vehicles. Also if you look at some of the professions of these cyclists they were layers, personal trainers and so on. Not exactly “assholes” and “louts”
You refer to cyclists as “assholes” but you will probably only find a small minority of them break the laws and cause any danger to anyone. So it is a bit hard to generalise everyone under that. The ones the brake the law are probably the ones you notice because they stand out more, where as you wouldn’t give a second glance to someone sat at the lights obeying the traffic signals.
Anyway, hopefully as time moves on there will be more sharing of the road rather than the current dominance by cars. For pedestrians this will be much better. For example in Oxford Circus the traffic is so loud you can barely have a conversation. If it was nothing but cyclists then the noise pollution would be far less and the living environment would be more pleasant.
The bottom line it isn’t a small minority that break the law, you have got that all wrong. It is a very small minority that actually stick to the law. It doesn’t matter what there profession is they are still breaking the law and I class them as petty criminals in the same league as shop lifters and such like.
Lets be honest how often has anybody ever seen a cyclist patiently sat at lights waiting for them to change, give me a break. It happens but very rarely.
I witness many so called professionals every single day running red lights and nearly knocking down pedestrians, because they haven’t got any dam patience. They area easy to spot, they are usually always on those fold up bikes.
One thing I have noticed about cyclists is that they never make mistakes and they are never wrong.
The last thing I like to or want to see is cyclists getting killed, injured or attacked but I feel in many cases they are blatantly at fault.
I must admit I would love to see less cars on the road that would only be a good thing and a massive improvement.
