Another London Craft Evening: Lager, Leather and Maps
On Thursday evening I attended my favourite kind of London craft evening featuring lager, leather and a cool new illustrated guide!
Let me explain. The event was the launch of The Look Of London: An illustrated guide to the city’s most influential fashion spots 1950-2000, by the publishers Herb Lester Associates, in collaboration with pop culture commentator Paul Gorman. The event was held at the legendary Lewis Leathers shop located on Whitfield Street, and to celebrate the occasion there was Saint Lager to drink!
Established in London way, way back in 1892 Lewis leathers are the most renowned and famous manufacturer of Motorcycle gear in the world, their handmade leather jackets are iconic. Herb Lester Associates research, write, print and distribute maps and guides to the world’s great cities. Saint produce fantastic tasting craft lager. Three companies carrying on the great tradition of top quality British craftsmanship and innovation.

Three crafts: brewing, publishing – it is the way HLA do it, and handmade high quality leather goods… my kind of craft evening in old London Town.
