Aberdeen Place To Primrose Hill

Aberdeen Place To Primrose Hill

Aberdeen Place to Primrose Hill via the Regent’s Canal is a fantastic walk that I often find myself enjoying. Great scenery from the start of the walk right to the end. And is there anything more relaxing than walking next to water, even if it is a wee bit murky looking…

Walking along the Regent’s Canal sure is more fun than sitting with my handsome face stuck in front of my laptop screen. This year I’m making a bigger effort to spend more of my leisure time offline. Real life is so much more fun than anything my laptop can conjure up…

Watching the sun setting from the top of Primrose Hill sure is a more inspiring sight than looking at it on a computer screen! The sun shinning on my face or the cold air blowing right through me, or even the rain falling on me, reminds me that I’m alive! Life is for living…

When I was living in Barbados every month or so we would head to St Lawrence Gap and stay in a hotel for 3 or 4 days. Nothing quite like waking up with a view of the Caribbean Sea…fucking perfect! I remember on one such trip I couldn’t help but notice a 30 something year old woman from London, who was always either on her laptop or on her mobile phone texting and making calls. She would never walk the 10 meters to the sea or even go for a dip in the pool. I guess online life was more fun than real life…

Aberdeen Place to Primrose Hill via Regent’s Canal seems like a good idea right now…I’m out of here and guess where I’m going…

  1. I can’t agree more and you made me laugh with your way of descriving it. There are many canals near my home and I should go and watch them before someone decides to fill them with cement!

  2. I know what you mean: I love the iPhone as much as the next person, but it’s supposed to help you live life… not be the means by which you live it!

  3. They sure are a great place for a bit of relaxation…

  4. Twisting the Spanner, unfortunately quite a few people have allowed themselves to become owned by their phone.
