A Scary Ride On The Ghost Bus Tour, Yikes!
I had seen the Ghost Bus Tours bus driving around central London a few times and it sure grabbed my attention. Lets just say, If you see this bus, you wont forget about it in a hurry and me, being the kinda guy that likes to do something slightly different and unusual, I knew that I had to book a tour on the London Necrobus.
Last night at approximately 7.30pm I boarded the London Necrobus, which is in fact a haunted Routemaster double decker bus. I don’t frighten easy, but as I stepped aboard the bus a slightly unhinged looking bus conductor greeted me and I new that I was about to enter a scary and ghostly place.
The Ghost Bus Tour took me on a journey around the dark and sinister side of London’s grizzly past, I discovered some of London’s most haunted places, along with unmarked burial grounds, as well as witnessing where public executions took place and much, much more, I don’t want to spoil the fun for those that want to go on one of London’s most ghostly tours.
The only complaint that I want to make about the Ghost Bus Tour, is about the health and safety officer they had on board the Necrobus last night, called Mrs Stint. She was too scary and realistic for my liking! I could see this very talented girl fitting in perfectly, in that soap opera called Eastenders.
If you are brave enough to board the Ghost Bus Tour, you will not only find out about London’s dark and disturbing past, but you will also find out a lot of interesting and informative facts. Also the buzz and thrill that I got from driving around central London in an original Routemaster bus, kitted out the way it is, was amazing.
If you are looking for something different to do in London, I would recommend going on the Ghost Bus Tour. It is something that the kids will really enjoy and if you are looking for something different to impress your date, girlfriend, wife or partner with, take them on London’s most Ghostly bus tour. I guarantee they will be impressed and above all else they will have fun. I think I have taken a friendly pet ghost home from the tour, I’m just in the process of getting it to do the dishes and tidy up my flat!
I have to give a girl on the tour bus a special mention for providing the evening with the biggest laugh of the night. The Necrobus was driving along Whitehall when the Conductor mentioned the name of the infamous Jack the Ripper, when the girl excitedly asked, “where does Jack the Ripper live?”. The Conductor rather dryly explained to her that Jack the Ripper died a long time ago and that he was doing his evil deeds in 1888 and that he was never actually caught, as well as the fact that know one knew who he was, let along knowing where he lived.

I went on one of these in Johannesburg. It was awesome! Maybe I should go on this one!
The Ghost Tour is definitely fun and it is about to get even better in the near future. I went on the 7.30pm tour but I feel it would have been even better had I went on the 9.30pm one when it was a bit darker…..
I did the ghost tour in Endinburgh, which was great fun and the kids loved it. I know what I’m going to be doing during the school holidays, and thats a London Ghost Bus tour.
Do you get cold on the tour? How much time do you spend on or off the bus?
Hi, even though it is an old Routemaster master bus, I didn;t feel cold at all on it. The whole tour is spent on the bus and it takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes. It is all done really well, they have couple of actors on the bus as part of the tour.
The cost of the tour is £18 for a adults and £12 for kids but I noticed on their web site they are letting kids go for free on a wednesday.

I went on the bus tour last night with friends, iv never laughed so much.
I have heard that the tour has got even better since I did it, there is now seemingly a stop at Hockers Graveyard, which sounds like fun…
im thinking about doing 1 for my 12th birthday in december and taking a few friends along. Would it be alright for my age or way too scary?
I think 12 is old enough to be on the Ghost Bus, I think she would enjoy it. It isn’t too scary.
As a person whom has had the privaledge of seeing 3 ghosts, and only once in my life, but I must add that it only takes one expeience to make a believer out of one. I had a very good experience as the ghosts were warm and friendly and the hotel where I stayed and had my experience told me everyone wanted to stay there to see those ghost. I had no and I mean none history of this hotel and had not planned on staying there, it was happenstance. I still do not know the reason ghosts exist. I have had premonitions of the future for a very long time, and I know that the energy for ghost and the energy for premonitions and hands on healing come from very similar energy types. I guess in the future if we do not destroy or if nature does not decide to eliminate our living life in some such catastrophe, i.e. cataclysmic happening, we shall figure out that energy and how and what it is comprised of. I know I went on a tangent,,sorry88888 I would love and i mean love to visit London, and I bet it was smoggy even before steel manufacturing because people had to warm their housed, wood burning firplaces.
