5 Very Strange Places To Take A Date In London

The beauty of the world that we live in, is that as human beings we are all not clones and as a result we have different tastes, and what excites one person, may well be a living hell for me or you.

So for those that are ever so slightly unhinged, or those with a crazy sense of humour and Gothic’s, lets face it you have to have a sense of humour to walk around dressed the way that they do! I have put together list of 5 very strange places where you can take your date in London.

My list of strange places or I suppose you could call them alternative things to do with your date in London, could also come in handy if you don’t want to see the person you are taking out on the date again.

5 Very Strange Places To Take A Date In London

1. Highgate Cemetery, Just imagine you and your date wandering around the various mausoleums, vaults catacombs, obelisks, statues hand in, as you look lovingly into each others eyes. You could even have your picnic sitting on top one of the vaults!

2. Ghost Bus Tours, why not embark on London’s scariest bus tour and visit and learn about some of the city’s most haunted and gruesome places. The Ghost Bus, is one that normal people might rather enjoy as well as the crazies out there.

3. Jack the Ripper Walk, it doesn’t get more gruesome that following in the footsteps of one of London’s most viscous serial killers. I think only Gothic’s would be into this as thing to do on a date.

4. The Viaduct Tavern, one of London’s most haunted pubs, a restless spirit haunts the pubs cellars and many members of staff have had the misfortune to experience this disturbed ghost. You can arrange to visit the cellar of this pub by appointment and visit the original cells of Newgate Prison, which the pub was built upon and you guessed it they are in the cellar. Have someone to arrange to switch the lights off and lock your date in the cell. This one is perfect if you don’t want to ever see them again.

5. The London Dungeon, a great tourist attraction, but as romantic place to take your date, maybe only for the Goths and the Crazies. Here you will experience the darkest and most gruesome moments in London’s past.

If you do plan on taking your date to any of my very strange places  in London, I think it would be best to keep your intended location quiet until you actually get there, you wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise or not have them turn up! I also don’t think you will be getting lucky afterwards, if you know what I mean, unless that is if  you are a Goth.
