5 Very Cool London Bars That Are Cooler Than Ice
London Is Cool and as you would expect it has an abundance of cool bars in which to unwind and take things easy in. Whether you are looking to impress your partner or are just seeking a swanky place to drink in, London wont let you down.
For me London has loads of Bars, which think they are cool, but they haven’t got a fu**king clue, they seem to think that because they have spent a fortune making the place look flashy that is all they have to do, to be cool. They then go and provide crap service or rude service, or you have to wait for 30 minutes to get a drink because they only have 2 people serving drinks and they spend half the time looking in the mirror.
So to be in my list of cool London bars, they have to look more than just cool, they actually have to be cool, which sadly for many is something that they will never be, until they get someone that can actually manage a bar properly.
Fortunately there are some bars in London that have got what it takes to be cool, they look amazing, they offer great service and they have a fantastic ambiance. I know there are a lot more than just 5 cool bars in London, but these are the 5 I have been to so far.
5 Very Cool London Bars That Are Cooler Than Ice
1. Jewel Piccadilly, 4-6 Glasshouse Street, London, W1B 5DQ
One of my personal favourites and a very cool bar indeed to hang out in, even though sometimes the staff occasionally spend a little bit too long looking at themselves in the mirror. A very stylish, friendly bar, with good music, what more could you want.
2. Sugar Cane, 247-249 Lavender Hill, London, SW11 1JW
An exotic and funky bar, with a good music and good atmosphere and fairly friendly staff. It is however too busy for me on a Saturday night, but hell what good places are empty at the weekend.
3. Shochu Lounge, Basement, 37 Charlotte Street, London, W1T 1RR
A very good lounge bar, if you are looking for a cool evening in very nice surroundings, this is the place to head too. However Shochu will empty your wallet real quick, it is expensive.
4. Detroit, 35 Earlham Street, London, WC2 H9LT
A real funky bar that is a real gem of place, which has in my opinion a good ambiance to it and it also a great place to take your girl or guy because there is a real intimate feel to it.
5. The Slug and Lettuce, O2 Arena, Greenwich, London, SE10 0DX
A good bar, with nice décor and good atmosphere and a perfect place to have a drink if you happen to be at the O2 and it isn’t too badly priced either.
The down side to drinking in cool bars in London is that it sure isn’t cheap and a night spent drinking in any of the above 5 bars is likely to leave most of us broke.
