5 Must Photograph London Locations
The coolest city in the world is of course London and I honestly don’t think that any other location on the entire planet has as many cool landmark as there is here in the Big Smoke.
Most tourists that come here, whether they come far flung shores such as the USA, Australia, South Africa, China or closer to home places like Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Liverpool all have one thing in common, they usually want to go and visit the famous London icons that they have seen so many times in the movies, television and magazines.
Visit any of London’s famous landmarks on any given day of the week, such as Tower Bridge, Big Ben, London Eye, Nelsons Column and St Paul’s Cathedral and you will come across thousands of happy and excited tourists getting the obligatory pictures. I have happily taken countless pictures for tourists eager to have themselves photographed beside London’s most famous sights.
Here we have it 5 Places that any tourist coming to London should really pay a visit to and photograph. . You know you want too…..
5 Must Photograph London Locations:
Big Ben & Westminster Palace: To come to London and not visit and photograph Big Ben & Westminster Palace is a criminal act that is punishable with 10 years in the Tower of London. Also make sure you hang around to hear the big old bell chime. If you get the opportunity to take the tour of The Houses of parliament, do it and if your a British citizen book yourself on a tour of Big Ben and get a big does of nostalgia.

London Eye: One of London’s newest icons. It has only been a part of the London skyline since 1999 and which is incidentally the most popular paid for tourist attraction in the UK. In my mind the London Eye truly comes alive at night when it is beautifully lit up. Stand on the north bank of the River Thames opposite the Eye and soak up the view as you take some memorable photos.
Trafalgar Square & Nelsons Column: Do any tourists come to London and not visit Trafalgar Square I very much doubt it and if you are there you would have to be blind not to see Nelsons Column because it stands out a wee bit. Trafalgar Square is seemingly the fourth most popular tourist attraction in the world with around 15 million visitors a year, I don’t know who counts all those people.
St Paul’s Cathedral: This iconic Cathedral stands on the highest point in the City of London, Ludgate Hill. St Paul’s Cathedral is a huge and impressive building, which offers countless picture taking opportunities. It is thought that St Paul’s has been a place of worship since the 604 AD and the present building, which is reckoned to be the fifth on this site was built in the 17th century.

Tower Bridge: Quite possible the most beautiful and famous bridge in the world. This iconic London structure was completed in 1894 and if you get the opportunit, you should try and coincide your visit to the bridge when it is opening up to let a boat through. Tower Bridge is also the most mistaken bridge in the world. Many people for some inexplicable reason think it is called London Bridge.
Make sure your camera is fully charged and that you have a full memory card, because if your visiting London there is nothing quite like having some pictures to look back on and to show your friends all the amazingly cool places you visited.
