I agree that sometimes a good walk is the best free thing to do. Here in Madison Wisconsin, one of my favorite walks is in an arboretum that almost no one thinks of visiting. I also like your Jack the Ripper walk. I just watched a documentary on him. Also, when I visited a few years back I visited the Torture museum in London. Was expensive but somewhat entertaining for a tourist like me. I love seeing what people do in other cities for free. I agree that sometimes a good walk is the best free thing to do.
