10 fabulous pictures taken by the fair hand of the blogger extraordinary William K Wallace from the London Is Cool blog. If I can’t blow my own trumpet who will! Maybe I got too much sunshine this morning or something. It is such a beautiful day here in London.
London is a city that at times can seem like it is a crazy modern day jungle, full of glass, steel and concrete buildings, masses of people and speeding cars all over the place. The amazing thing about London is that there are thousands of acres of parks and green spaces dotted all over the city that are perfect for getting some respite from it all.
Of course the Big Smoke is more than just full of modern ugly and some not so ugly buildings, it is also home to plenty of beautiful old buildings that are hundreds of years old that have somehow managed to survive the modern world.
London has it all, old buildings galore, beautiful parks, ugly glass skyscrapers, a river that runs through the heart of it and street art, some of it better than others. Here are a few pictures taken around London by my fair hand.
